i just had new brake shoes put on my car by and the man that did it did not bleed my brakes so when i got in my car and heard the same noices i heard brefore wich were nasty grinding sounds i thought maybe it was just cause i needed to have them bled i had them bled and still my car is grinding even when im not usingt he brake also it takes a lot to get it to stop it sounds like most of the niose is coming from the passenger side and my brother said my brake line or somthig wasa not working but i need to know what all parts i need to fix my brakes but i have no way of knowing what is wrongf with them

if you have shoes then most likely you need to have the brake drums machined cost about 5 dollars at oriely or parts store.


however if you have disc brakes maybe more probs.
but since your post said shoes and not pads we will have to go with turn drums.

also there is a metal plate called a backing plate sometimes this gets bent and will rub on the drums.
