1999 Buick Century water pump removal and replacement

I would like to know the difficulty of removing and replacing a water pump on this vehicle. My daughters car water pump bearing sounds like a coffee machine perculating and the water pump needs to be replaced. Shops are very expensive and I would like to know the difficulty.
