1999 Buick Century EGR Valve

The "service engine soon" light came on and the code read that the problem was with the EGR Valve. I removed the EGR valve and lubricated it so the plunger moves freely but the light remains on. I don't see a vaccum hose connected to this valve or any type of switch. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your assistance!

go to autozone and have them, reset the engine light(forfree). and see if that works, otherwise your gonna have to replace it
