1998 Buick Century WindShield Wipers

I'm having a problem with only the driver side wiper. The wiper doesn't stop once it reaches the top, it continues right off of the windshield and then back on the windshield stopping half way down. No its not a motor
its the arm it self loose
at the bottom of the arm you may have a plastic cover shield over the hold down nut
remove the plastic cover position the arm and torque down the nut
