I am experiencing the same problem many others have- after driving for 20 minutes, car stalls at a stop. It will restart but immediately stall when I try to shift into any gear. I am assuming that the "locked" torque converter clutch is causing the problem. I would like to disconnect the TCC plug to the transmission in order to see if this corrects the problem. Looking straight down at the transmission under the hood (on drivers side), I see a plug going into the tranny that has two wires. It looks like one of the wires is also connected to an Oxygen sensor. If so, then I assume I would not be able to try disconnecting in order to diagnose the problem. But I am not sure if I am even looking at the correct plug, how many wiring plugs lead into the transmission? Are some located on the bottom where I am not seeing them? What I would really like to see is a picture or detailed diagram of the wiring harness location to the TCC. Thank you for your time.

Hi Is check engine light comming on? Don't think you will be able to disconnect just the TCC. Connector on side transaxle near pan. to acess TCC need to drop pan and remove wire from TCC solenoid. see diagram
