Engine Performance problem
1989 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
MY car is hard to start and when it does it idles very rough applying throttle always results in car dying,if it doesnt die from rough idle first. Have used a diagnostic meter on it reads idle sensor low voltage and maf/map sensor low voltage. Repalced idle sensor, checked fuel pressure is at 38 psi while running. Pulled wire off each coil pack to ckeck for spark all ok.This problem just appeared out of nowhere, one day it was fine next wont run right. Checked vacum at hose after engine shut down still had vacum .Doesnt appear to be clogged catalytic converter as there is ample pressure coming out of the tail pipe.
