1989 Buick Century Engine oil in cooling system

I have a really nice 3.3 liter V6 in this car and it has always been well maintained. Recently I have noticed some engine oil in the radiaitor catch tank, but no water in the oil. A compression check showed all cylinders the same and the engine runs as good as it ever did. There are no performance problems, leaks or strange smells coming out of the engine compartment. What could be the cause? And is there an easy fix?

Are you sure it is motor oil and not trans fluid? The only way motor oil can mix with coolant would be a bad head gasket or intake gasket. On the other hand, the trans fluid is cooled by going through the trans cooler in the radiator that can leak internally causing the two to mix.
