Hello, my question is, when changing an 02 sensor should the sensor go in real tight and should the threads on the sensor be mashed. Does the sensor have one type of thread and the exhaust have a different type. Because the one that I have mashes the thread, Also, what can cause a sensor to foul, I just replaced one about 7-8 weeks ago and it's fouled already?

Do you mean the threads are smashed? Is it cross threaded? THey should go in like a regular bolt. I do recomend placing anti-seize on the treads on the threads of the new one so it comes out easily if it needs replaced.

Let me know if you have other questions.
