Welcome to 2CarPros.

First, check fuse 4 in the interior fuse box.

If the fuse is good, you next need to check power in and out of the brake light switch.

If there is, using a test light, check for power to the light socket. If there is power with the test light, then the ground is bad. If there is no power, then you need to trace the wiring back. There are a couple splices to check. I attached some pictures for you to see the schematic. I circled all things to check.

Let me know if this helps.

Welcome back:

I'm not sure what relay you are referring to. The fuse I suggested checking is hot all the time. That sends power directly to the brake light switch. If there is no power at the switch, either the fuse is bad, one of the splices in the wiring is bad, or the wire itself is broken at some point. Were you able to check that fuse? Take a look at the first picture I attached. It shows the fuse I'm questioning. Check that and let me know. If it is good, confirm power is available on both sides of the fuse. Basically, make sure power is going through the fuse and out.

Let me know.

Take care,
Joe
