Suddenly while driving down the road my brakes failed

Driving down the road all of the sudden I had no brakes. I have changed the pads and disc rotor, still no brakes. what else could be the problem?

could be a master cylinder or an ABS problem. have a mechanic look at this immediately so he can scan it see if it is an ABS problem or needing bleeding.
