brass float on sending unit

I can't locate a replacement part for the brass float that attaches to the fuel pump in the Saturn. All the after market fuel pumps tell you to use the old sending unit float. The sending unit itself works fine but the float has gas in it and therefore does not work properly. Any suggestions of another vehicle's float that can be used without retrofits.
