As I drive and brake in normal driving conditions, the brakes slowly pump up until they start slowing the vehicle down and stop the car. The only way to move the car again is to crack a bleed valve- they return to normal operation- and start over. This takes from 50 to 75 steps on the brake to cycle.

Since I did not want to go on a witch hunt never having run across a problem like this I took it into the Honda Dealership for professional repairs.

To make a long story short, they said that the THOUGHT someone had used the wrong brake fluid and that they would have to replace the entire braking system- including antilock- and that it would cost $3,000 dollars.

........................#####.......................(I think I found Salem.....and am looking around for the courtroom)

Needless to say I am going to get a second opinion.

Please steer me in the right direction please???? (don't brake if you see a dealership sign.....)

Sincerely,

John Edgar

What bleeder do you open to release pressure? Is there a chance something other than the correct brake fluid was used?
