This started my problem before I replaced these things that probably needed changing.

Hydro boost, all calipers, rotors, pads, and hoses.

I have not replaced the master cylinder as the fluid is clean and there are no leaks, etc. And I did not replace the brake pedal switch.

Only the front brakes are locking down within a short driving time. At least the rear seem to be at a normal operating temperature.

I have the "stabilizing" light on, so could the ABS be causing this?

This could be an ABS issue. However, let's start with the basics. What do you have to do in order to get them to operate normally? Do you just give it time and then they cool down and release?

Was this happening before you replaced these parts? If it was, let's unplug the ABS and drive the vehicle.

Clearly we are going to set codes but that should not prevent you from driving the vehicle on this vehicle but it will prevent it from engaging.

We are going to need to check the codes before you do this.

Then we can find out if it stops doing this and that will tell us what direction to go.

The problem was before I made the new repairs. I had hoped it was the old calipers or the hydro boost. The hydro boost was leaking a good deal. I disabled the ABS and drove it 8-10 miles and no brakes locked down in that time. Normally it would have happened within two miles. So that seems to verify ABS module problems?
Thank-you so much for your help! Sam Owens

That is what I take from it. If it is unplugged then it cannot activate the brakes. I would replace it using the instructions above.

Let us know how you make out. Thanks
