noise coming from driver side rear wheel well when braking. This noise ONLY happens when I apply some light pressure to the brake and slowly slow down and it tends to only happen at night for some reason after my truck has been sitting in the heat all day?? It did start happening after two things were done - brakes and tire rotation. However i noticed the rear shoes were down I need to do a brake job can you help?

Brakes were working fine until it rained and the next day they are making a grinding noise from the rear. I think I need new shoes.

Replacing the rear brake shoes and drums isn't too hard to do. Just make sure to get a lifetime brake shoe so you don't have to pay for them again in the future.

You can expect rear brake pads to last approximately 30,000 miles. However, that will change based on driving habits and terrain.
