Brakes leaking fluid

The the front brakes have been metal to metal for couple days now. Now this morning after coming to stop at a gas station, the inside of the front passenger side tire is wet with brake fluid. Checked the reservoir and it's now empty. My question is, if I fill the brake fluid back up will my other brakes then work?

The short answer is no, it will not work as you have air in the system and once there is a leak, the system is not able to build pressure needed to apply the brakes. Clearly this is not something that you want to continue to drive. This vehicle should be towed to whatever, repair location you are going to change the brakes.

I suspect you are going to have to replace the caliper on that side as well as the brake pads.
