Have the truck listed above Dually. Replaced everything from the disc, drum, brakes, brake lines, master cylinder, and brakes booster, and still no brakes. It will work for half a day and then goes out. What can be the cause of this?

Hello,

Are you losing any fluid?
One of the reasons you will have pedal going to the floor if there is a leak. And of course, for having air in the brake lines.

Did you have the same issue before replacing of those components?

Another possibility it has a faulty electronic brake control module (EBCM).

Let me know little more details of what you have been experiencing.

I have attached the brake bleeding procedure as well as the EBCM diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Yes, the problem existed before replacing all of these things. I Have tried to bleed them several times and no visible leaks that i know can be seen. The ABS has been removed could that be the cause of them not working?

Also going to try to look at the EBCM to try and rule that out or hopefully fix the problem.

When you say ABS has been removed, what exactly was removed?

A faulty EBCM will keep the brakes from working properly.

Let me know what you find.

I have removed the whole ABS system. It is directly hooked up to the master cylinder. When I bought the truck the person that had it before took out the entire brake system trying to create their own brake system. I'm just trying to make it make it plain Jane brakes. Master cylinder 2 brake lines to the brakes.

It's interesting that they did that. Let me know if you are able to rule out the EBCM.

You have to put in a longer pin between the booster and the master cylinder but for now it is working. So, we will see for how long and hope for the problem to be solved.
