Good morning,

I would not drive it until you have it examined and fixed.

It sounds like there is a problem with the pads contact with the rotor. It may not be making contact for some reason such as no lining left and the car will not slow down correctly.

can't be the pads. I changed them six months ago with a certified mechanic. I did not get any problems with the brakes all this time.

That was six months ago and this is now.

They need to check again as you have an issue somewhere with the application.

All depends on what brand parts were installed and the type of driving you do.

Is it normal? No, it is not. That is why it needs to be checked carefully.

Stop and start. Highway. Driving too fast and abusing the brakes to stop. Riding the brake pedal while driving.

That is not good. You should never ride the brakes at all. You are overheating them.

Really. I never got any problems with the brakes. I drove like this for nine years and never had brake problems, until now.

That means the brakes are locking up.

Did he repair it for you?

What was the repair?
