Very little stopping force. This was an all of a sudden thing. Won't pump up. Not a slow going to the floor, almost nothing(resistance) until almost to the floor. No leaks evident and fluid level good. New master cylinder, pads and brake lines about a year ago. Non ABS brakes. I think it's the master cylinder or brake booster. How to determine which one?

Good morning,

The booster will not cause this. This is a master cylinder failure as that is where the pressure is developed.

Use a rebuilt or new cylinder and bleed them out well.
