Brake pedal to the floor

No warning what so ever.
1- No leaks.
2- Brake fluid/reservoir full.
3- Never grinding or squeeking of brake pads.
4- No warning lights on dash came on.
5- All new tires.

I just went out to my van yesterday morning and pressed on the brake pedal to put in into drive and the pedal went to the floor. I still have brakes to stop but it seems dangerous. I have had a few random home type mechanics take a peek at it and they have said it is either the master cylinder or a wheel cylinder.

With no leaks,

Master cylinder reservoir full.

My money's on the failing master cylinder.

Are you doing to replace it yourself?

No. I have no idea on how I would do that. I am having a certified mechanic look at it on Friday and he is going to give me a estimate as well.

Definitely, abstain from driving it all you can until then. Nothing like no brakes when you really need them. Creeping along is better than going fast.
