Brake pedal and brakes lights

It sounds like a leaking brake booster check this out, the vacuum noise can only be coming from the booster.

Thanks that is what I thought, the booster is making the vacuum noise. Bad booster? Or fixable??

Not worth the time or money these days doing self repairs on these units, go get a new or change over booster this will be quicker and in the long term cheaper fix.

Will my master cylinder need to be replaced, or can I test it and use the old one?

When you remove the master just make sure that the rear seal is not leaking fluid, if it is dry it will be fine to reuse, if leaking replace the master as well.
