Brake lights, cruise control, turn signals, hazards not working properly and shifter stuck in park

Okay. I suspect you have multiple issues. The brake lights and not coming out of park may be related but you could also have a shifter interlock issue and then just a wiring issue for the brake lights and turn signals.

The fact that you have a new brake switch is making me think we have an interlock issue so let's tackle that first. Take a look at this document and let me know what you think.

I agree! sounds like an electrical issue and possibly a blown fuse 2.24 (interior fuse box) due to a short to ground. I have illustrated a diagram for you to get things started. If the fuse is blown you will need to find the short and repair it before replacing the fuse.

Thank y’all. It wasn’t the switch.. it was the fuse. Everything works again except turn signals and hazards.. the lights on dash don’t even work. I was told I need a multi function switch. What is the difference between a multi function and turn signal switch and if that’s the problem will it also make my hazzards work again? Or is there like a flasher switch or something?

The multi function switch is the turn signal switch. Your hazard and turn signal issue could be the same issue. However, you have a flasher for the hazards that needs to be inspected.

Also, your vehicle has a flasher module which could be the issue. In order to figure this out, we need to go to the module and measure voltage on the circuits from the switch when the turn signals are turned on. Then we need to turn the hazards on and measure voltage on the circuit for the flasher.

Let me know what you find on these and we will be able to determine if it is a switch issue or the module.
