I have put new brake light switch on it, new fuse’s, replaced All 6 of the bulbs and checked the brake pedal coming all the way up. Still the lights won’t turn off.
Checked parking brake switch.
Put new battery on van checked for burned wire I don’t see any. I have taken van apart seats out console still can’t find the problem. Check fuse box inside and under the hood.
Take all the body ground’s off cleaned them.
Two of dash lights passages airbag is on and on the dash about the radio that light tells me it’s off.
I have worked all my cars most of my life can’t fix this one. need some help please and today the wrench came on dash van runs fine.

This could be a couple things, so we need to start with checking for power leaving the relay for this circuit.

Here is a guide that will help with testing this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-wiring

I attached the wiring diagram as well below.

Another question I have is I want to confirm you have a floor shift vehicle. If you do then is there any chance you spilled any drinks on the center console?

If so, then we need to check the connector on the console shifter because it could be shorted.

Please run through this info and let me know what questions you have on this.

Thanks
