brake light switch

My problem is I cannot find it under the dash. I followed the pedal up and looked all around. I need to be told the specific area. I am a bit frustrated as I usually can get things done efficiently. The small jobs I can do I leave the heavy lifting for the shop. There are only three screws, two clips and duct work. I could also take the hood latch apart if needed.

Hi folks I just finished taking the under dash out and gave it a good look around, It must be in a different place for the ML500 2006! There are no extra cable lines just a fabric firewall. The brake plate and gas pedal plate. The single bound cable for the tiny light, computer and the air flow. No other free standing cable with connector. My next step is the long drive to the repair shop and a 400 dollar so called easy fix. thanks for the info and your effort

gentlemen and ladies
there was an extensive search under the dash and the conclusion reached by two expert technicians it doesnt exist in this model 2006 ml500. Now does one exist else where? Under the master cylinder perhaps , dont know for sure. Would be so kind as to ask one of your folks. It is a Canadian model if that helps.

i am really sorry fellows but s9/3 doesnt exist on my ml 500 2006. what to do what to do? dealership perhaps? Please try asking your rolladesk one last time please
