My brake light is on on my dash. NO leaks, brakes seem great. The car only has 24000 miles on it. I read a couple of places that sometimes the brake light can be reset. Can this on be? I checked the fluid level both compartments are full. The only thing I did notice is if you apply the parking brake it goes all the way to the floor. Can anyone help me on this?

The pedal goes to the floor and you didn't recognize that as a problem?

If there's no external leaks and the level is good in the reservoir, suspect internal leakage in the master cylinder. It can be replaced without having to bleed the system at the wheels. When you can't build pressure in half of the hydraulic system, the pressure differential valve shifts in the combination valve and the switch turns on the red warning light.
