brake failer lightcomes on then gose off

I had the front brake pads change . but the brake failer light comes on then gose off after I hit the brakes

Check that the hydraulic system is ok, no leaks and bleed correctly, check that the wear indicator is fitted correctly (if used on your model) this is a small carbon rod inserted into one pad that when earthed turns on a brake warning light.
