Saw your video on YouTube. Great job. Question: What tool did you use to take the rotor off the axle?

This is just a common slide-on rotor. Once the caliper is removed, the rotor should just fall off, but on a lot of imports, there is one or two Philips screws that must be removed first. We typically reinstall that screw later, but it is basically there to keep the rotors from falling off while the car is on the assembly line.

Sometimes the rotor gets rusted to the hub, but it rarely takes more than a few taps from a small hammer to pop it loose. Clean that hub and hole, then put a little brake grease on those mating surfaces. That will make it easier to remove the rotor next time, and it can prevent a crunching noise when cornering.
