brake/airbag/battery lights on

brake light on. check fluid good, check for leaks okay. disconnect master cylinder sensor/light still on. replace battery because notice battery light on (under warranty). i have a scanner notice codes $ 7E8 CAN STD FAST $ 7E9 CAN STD FAST reset codes no codes stored, but all lights still on please give me advise don't know what to do.

Hi,

These could all be the result of the alternator not properly charging. Do me a favor. Follow this link and let me know what you find:

Let me know what you find. Also, let me know the engine size so I can look through schematics.

Hi Joe, I want to thank you for all your info and help, about my brothers car as he was driving to work and he got stranded. I read your answer even though I didn’t exactly know how to do all of the steps. I replaced the alternator, and everything went well no more lights The only thing that got me is those readings (codes $7E8&9). I have never seen those types of codes? I was just wondering. Thanks Fernando. Agüero (The engine is a 4 cylinder)

Hi,

I had a feeling that was the cause. As far as the codes, they are control module menus. The 8 is for the powertrain and the 9 is for the transmission.
