I have a 1998 dodge Dakota the body is bad. I have a 2001 Dakota needs a transmission. Willy 1998 motor and transmission fit in the 2001 body?

Hi,
Physically, they will interchange, but the engines are different sizes. That will require you to change wiring harnesses, vacuum harnesses, engine and trans mounts, control modules, and basically anything that is related to the engine and or trans. If it is 4WD, drive shafts may be a little difficult as well.
