My car has been acting "wierd" as of late with the yellow brake, ABS and traction control engaging from time to time. This usually happens at idle or at slow speeds.

Do advise why I need to look out for, my hunch tells me it could be a electrical module that needs to be replaced but then I'm not a mechanic. This could be caused due to a variety of reasons. Having explored forums online, it seems this is a very common issue among the same model range and with BMW post 1998. I'm hoping for a solution that doesn't break the bank.

You dont want to break the piggy bank, I can dig it. To be blunt about it, you should have considered a jap car, BMW stands for Break My Wallet. The first step is to have the car scanned for fault codes and report them back here, we will go from there.
