rear view mirror replacement instructions, is it possible to swap?

I wanted to replace my rearview mirror with one that has the home link and want to know how to replace it. Also would the dealer have to reprogram my car for the garage door opener to work?

Hello,

If your vehicle does have the homelink mirror, installing a homelink mirror may not work. As the wiring does not exist on your existing mirror base in order for the home link to work. I have attached the replacement procedure for your reference.
