Computer problem
2003 BMW Z4 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 44000 miles

My battery was dead after being gone for 3 weeks. We charged it, it started and I drove the car about 15 miles. My radio was only coming out 1 speaker.
I drove it home and took it out again; the speakers started popping. We pulled over lifted the cover in the trunk and found water in the battery compartment. The computer is also in this compartment and had water on it.
What do we need to do to fix this? Is there a way to tell if the computer has permanent damage. the dealership is closed until Monday and I leave for out of town again on Monday.
