how to remove radio?

I need to remove the radio in order to get the serial number from the back of the radio so I can give to BMW in order to get the radio code! I have lost the code card that came with the auto. Your help is appreciated.

Here are diagrams to help you see what you are in for when removing the radio which looks like you will need a small U shaped wire.
