The front right brake doesn't quite "let go" when I take my foot off the pedal. As a result, after only a few miles at speed (60+), the front right disc gets SUPER hot...all other discs are relatively cool, even touchable. At engine idle, put the trans in "D", take foot off the brake pedal, the car won't move, because the brake is holding it. The vehicle is not safely driveable in this condition......Help!

This might be either a mechanical or electrical issue. If it is mechanical, the caliper may need to be repaired or replaced. If not , then the DSC might be holding pressure in that caliper(not as likely as caliper failure) I sit in cyberspace and do not know if you have mechanical skills sufficient to properly complete this task and brakes are, as you yourself pointed out, a safety issue. Therefore I recommend seeking out professional assistance to remedy this as soon as possible.

This is common when the brake flex hose needs to be replaced or the caliper slide is frozen. Here is how to swap the parts out so you can re-bleed the system.
