Electrical problem

Hi
Can anyone please advise how the reverse beep (which comes on automatically when I put the vehicle in reverse) can be disabled on my japanese import BMW X5. I do not have the PVC sensor option on the vehicle. This just relates to putting the vehicle in reverse, and has become irritating.
