P1158/P1160

Go to this link: https://www.2carpros.com/trouble_codes/obd2

P0171/P0174

Lean fuel condition could be caused by one of the following below:

1.Vacuum leaks
2.EGR and PCV valve.
3.Low fuel pressure.
4.Dirty fuel injectors.
5.Mass Air Flow Sensor.
6.Oxygen Sensor.

Lets get the facts straight, EGR was not installed on this car. BMW has not used EGR for a long time. What was done, what was replaced and what method was used to pull codes? Generic code readers dont always tell the tale. Have you replaced the pre-cat oxygen sensors yet?

AS A PROFESSIONAL, I TRUST YOU BUT YOU CLAIMED THAT (BMW DID NOT USED EGR VALVE) SPECIALLY ON MY CAR MODEL. AND THIS IS WHAT I HAVE REPLACED IN FRONT OF THE ENGINE ON THE SIDE.

The valve is for the secondary air injection, not EGR. The plate IS the PCV valve on the back of the intake manifold.
