ABS and DSC lights come on

Drive Train Axles Bearings problem 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 67000 miles

I have x5 2001 3.0. when I start the engine, and the car is moving, the first thing I apply the brake I hear the metal grinning noise and shaking a little, then the ABS and DSC lights come on then the car is driving fine. I don't know what the problem. Please help me.

Where is the noise coming from? it sounds like you have a wheel bearing hub going out which will cause the ABS and DSC light to come on. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

noise is from the right side. i guess that's common. but what i'm'worried is my ABS, DSC and Hand Brakes lights comes out. its like when i release my hand brake it turns to yellow light. but still the lights with ABS and DSC is still on.

It still sounds like an axle hub bearing that is out, can you lift the car on the right and see if there is play in the wheel?

Yep the wheel had so much play I cant believe it. I had the repair done at a shop it cost me $340.00. ABS and DSC lights all off everything working good, Thanks for the tip this site is great.
