Car Alarm

1997 540i BMW, 169,000 mileage,V8. First time here so I hope this is worth it...The car alarm has been going off daily but ONLY in the morning. Twice, I went out and ehard a small plane passing in the sky but other times, I thought for no reason. What could I do to stop it? HELP???

the problem with the alarm is probably the hood switch.they are prone to failure due to age and/or adjustment
