1999 BMW M3 Trouble code P0183

1999 BMW M-Coupe (same engine as '99 M3)

I keep intermittently getting trouble code P0183, which I have found online to mean "fuel temp sensor A circuit high input" or "fuel control mixture lean (bank 1, sensor 1).

Is this something I need to be immediately concerned about, or something that can wait until the next time I have it in the shop?

It may just be the pre-cat O2 sensor for cylinders 1-2-3 is biased to the lean side. I recommend replacement of both pre-cat sensors and resetting the adaptations. At 100k they're called for anyway. I wouldn't rush to get this fixed, but it needs to be done as soon as possible. Use only the Bosch sensors for that model.
