Engine cranks but does not start, codes 2F44, 2A94, 2D5A, 2CFB, and 2D09

Have code for EWS Preventing Manipulation. I tried realigning the ECU with the CAS module ABS, but it keeps returning with the EWS Preventing Manipulation code.
The crankshaft position sensor is new.
I was thinking or swapping the DME CAS and key from a running donor 525xi, would that make it start without needing further programing?

These codes are pointing to multiple issues, so we need to pick the most likely one that is causing the crank no start issue. This is by far most likely cause by a crank sensor issue, so we need to start there.

The way to test the sensor is to use a lab scope to watch the pattern and make sure they are clean square waves.

If you don't have a lab scope, then we need to check the wiring to and from the sensor for any open circuits. If the wiring is fine, then I would just replace the sensor as we will have to guess at it because there is no other way to check the sensor operation with a voltmeter.

Basically, the meter is not able to tell us if the pattern is correct so even if you are getting voltage at the DME that doesn't mean the sensor is sending a correct pattern. If it does not send this pattern, then the DME will not recognize it and will not know when to fire the ignition and fuel system.
