1991 BMW 850 V12 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Could you explain to me what these abbreviations are? They were listed on the above car which is for sale and I want to know before making an offer

The ECM ( Electronic control module ) ECS ( Evaporative control system ) could be-there's a lot of auto acronyms-but if you tell me what it relates to I might help define it
