Brakes problem
1999 BMW 740 V8 Automatic 90000 miles

i have the same problem with the ABS light comes on and just make the break locked up, does not release back out and the car is not moveable

a ABS malfunction will not lock up your brakes, I believe what you are experiencing is a transmission malfunction, the transmission is locked in to the different gears, reverse and forward, and I had the same problem with my 1997, 750IL, I had to replace the transmission.
