1995 Front Windshield Exterior top trim piece.

I just acquired a '95 740il and noticed that the front windshield's top center trim piece is missing. It has the left and right. I found that this piece is available on line but how do I install it. Are there mounting clips involved or due I just glue it into place? Thanks for any help on this.

The design flaw is the clips that retain the trim go on when the glass is installed and yes you could "glue" it into place, be sure to inspect the other trim pieces too, they may want to come off as well.
