i'm experiencing aloss of power, the car is struggling to reach 30 mph i can smell hot rubber and the air out of the exhaust is very hot

Hi there,
Have the catalytic converter check out, it may have collapsed and is over heating. this will restrict power high exhaust temp and the burning smell my well be the exhaust mounts melting and the under body proof coating melting due to extreme exhaust temps. I repaired a similar problem a few weeks ago on a Saab.
