2000 BMW 728 imported from Sinagapore. Knocking happend on the upward road when not fully stepping on it. Can it be repaired if I change the spark plug with colder heat range ? Any thing recommendable ?

If there is an issue with detonation, try filling the tank with high octane fuel. Changing to a cooler plug will have zero effect.
