I have a 2001 BMW 540i which due to a flood in the parking of the building that I live in went under water to about half of the door height. All the interiors including the seats were muddy. I checked the oil and it didn't seemed that any water was in contact with the oil but there was water in the motor air filter. I made the reclamation with the insurance company and they are considering if it should be repaired. If they decide to repair the car should I stay with it? What are the future problems that I could face?
