1997 BMW 540i rouch acceleration/doesnt seem to get gas to

I have a 97 bmw 540i... It's running a little rough. It seems to hesitate when pressing on the gas. While going between 34-55mph, the car seems to "stall" for a second before resuming speed, or seem like it isnt getting gas
