I am guessing that due to the location and what the wife has told me about these noises is that they could be from a bearning or control arm. BUT, when I asked her about stomping on the brakes and any vibration or movement in the steering wheel she said no nothing.
She has managed to tell me that the Noise, is louder and more often when the car is coldest in the morning. Since we live in Texas cold here now is 48 degrees. It almost never snows and rarely gets below 20 degrees at the worst. So, cold its like up North Cold. Ive heard noise once when I made a hard right turn into parking lot heard it twice for 5 seconds and it stopped could not duplicate it. The turn was past 3 oclock and almost into 6 oclock if you know what I mean. I turned almost back thte way I was originally traveling. The bump was the onramp bump to convenience store not much of one. Now wife said its much worse and in morning when going to school shes afraid of being hurt or more damage to her car baby.

I would not worry too much, it sounds like the thrust arm bushings are worn out.
