Engine Performance problem
2007 BMW 530i 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 30.000 miles

This is a European BMW 530i and I am trying to put the catalitic that the BMW dealer sold me here that says "national version Korea" because in the US is not posible to buy the European part number and that is the one used here, will that affect in some way the engine? Will the engine not run correctly?
Some mechanics tell me it wont work and other say it will work. What do you think

What country is this car operated in? What part number is attached to the converter?

The car is in Argentina, and I send the exhaust manifold with the catalitic from here. The number in Germany is 18407563723 and on the dealer here in US they told me that the number 18407545306 is the same part but with emission for Korea and I supossed for US also. The dealer in Argentina tells me that is a diferent part. But the part is the same, the problem es the catalitic. Now my question, will that affect the normal engine function?

The German part number does not seem to be coming up in my database, the other number is good and will not adversely affect engine performance when operated within normal parameters and when used with unleaded fuel. Thank you for the answers. Do you know the diference in 2007 in that BMW the diference between the engine N52 and the engine N52N?
