2000 BMW 528 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 140k miles

I have a 2000 bmw with a P1260 error code and a #5 cylinder code I swaped the plug and the coil and the problrm didn't move I also got a P1260 code? what,s next Please don't give me the lame answer to get a manual

The P1260 code is generic. It lists for anti theft and engine start intervention. How did you extract the code, what fault reader did you use? If there is a mis-fire fault for #5 cylinder and you tried swapping coils and plugs, then maybe it isn't getting any fuel. Is the injector working? Is it getting a signal?
