2000 BMW 528 blower fan

Replace the final stage, part# 64-11-8-385-549 and your issues with the fan will be resolved. It can be accessed from the passenger foot well. Remove the carpet trim piece held in by a Phillips screw and the plastic tray under the glove box by pulling it forward and then there is a chunk of gray foam, pull it out and you can view the final stage, it is held in with a plastic tab.
